The Piazza

 

The Piazza is our cantilever, variable height parasol.

The cantilever arm allows the canopy to cover an area without obstruction, making the Piazza perfect for dining and seating areas.

The variable height feature enables the canopy to be set anywhere between 1.7m and 3m. This, combined with the Piazza's tilted canopy, ensures your space is always protected, regardless of the time of day.

Rectangular canopies can be configured with the frame on the long or short side.

Bespoke sizes are available as special order.

A smooth worm-screw winch mechanism allows for effortless raising and lowering of the canopy between 1.7m and 3m.

Easily rotate your umbrella 360° on the base, allowing you to position the canopy over multiple spaces from a single base position.

The entire canopy can be tilted backwards and forwards, creating a greater variety of coverage throughout the day.

All of our Poggesi canopies are made using premium grade acrylic fabric, which is fade resistant and fully waterproof.

Whether you’re looking to install your umbrella on a terrace, decking, rooftop, or even a yacht, we have the right base solution for your space. 

Our Piazza umbrella frame contains hidden internal conduits – perfect for running power cables. 

Your umbrella can be supplied with a variety of accessories, including heaters, lighting, base covers, and more. 

When fully closed, the umbrella stands completely vertically. This allows you to pack the canopy away into a slim, straight column.

We offer full delivery, installation and demonstration of your umbrella wherever possible.

How does the Piazza's variable height canopy work?

 

All of our Piazza's come with a winding handle that you simply insert into the mechanism on the umbrella's mast, and turn to move the canopy up and down to meet your desired height. Very little physical effort is required, enabling you to alter the canopy's height anywhere from 1.7m to 3m effortlessly.

The canopy can also be tilted for additional variation in the same way. A full demonstration on how to use the parasol will be provided during the installation process to ensure you are comfortable and confident in using your new parasol to its full potential.

Our in-ground bases

 

We specialise in discreet in-ground bases. Incredibly strong, they enable the parasol to blend elegantly into a space without the need for bulky and visible surface bases.

Our in-ground base installation service includes everything you need - a site survey to measure up, and installation of the base unit including all labour, materials, and waste removal.

Cost: £600

If you have a contractor, 'handy man', or you're installing the base yourself, we can simply provide you with the in-ground base ready for you to install. Full guidance on measurements, installation and alternative base options can be found here. 

Whichever option you choose, our team will be on hand to fit the umbrella onto the base and run through a full demonstration with you.

White glove delivery service

 

Each Piazza is delivered free of charge to most parts of the UK. We endeavour to always do the following as part of our standard service:

  • Keep in touch with you before arrival so you know exactly when to expect us
  • Install your umbrella on a surface base or a pre-installed in-ground base
  • Provide a demonstration on how to open and close your new parasol, and how to level it at various heights
  • Show you the easiest way to apply the winter storage bag
  • Ensure you are entirely confident in using your new umbrella
  • Take away all packaging
  • Be on hand via call/WhatsApp video should you need assistance once everything is installed and we have left the site

*Free delivery exceptions – England - North of the M62, and Norfolk. 

Channel Islands; Scotland; Northern Ireland; Isle of Man; Isle of Wight; parts of Wales postcodes LL and SA.

For all delivery exceptions, we will need to reclaim ferry crossing / tolls and a charge only to cover the ‘beyond normal mileage’.

London congestion charge and emissions zone – we reserve the right to recover costs.
